Here's some helpful information regarding your photo...

Magnets are business card size. (2 X 3.5 inches)

Remember that the magnets are
rectangular in shape. We often receive photos for our
"font-in-box" designs like the one below which are very "square"
in shape.
If we cropped it to fit our magnet, it would
look like this.

If you are ordering a calendar magnet, we
need room for the calendar. A centered photo like the one on
the left has very little room for a calendar and text. The
photo on the right is a better choice for a calendar magnet.

In some cases the background may have too
much "noise" for text to show up well. It is best to find a
picture with a fairly solid background color or choose a design
like the color side box, poem magnet or photo black bar
which will allow the text to be written on a solid color.
Notice the different font colors in the
lower right hand corner. Neither would work very well.

We need room to place the text for our
font-in-box designs. The photo on the left is "too close" to
the subjects and the only place for text would be on their faces.
A picture taken with more room around the subjects would work much
better. The picture on the right is a better choice for this
design.
The
examples above are just some helpful hints to make your photo
magnet great. Please note that if you submit a photo that
won't work well in the design you choose, our designers will
gladly change the design to one that will work.
We will also notify you if we think another photo is needed.
